Local network (LAN)

No local interface addresses detected (your browser may redact them in private mode or with strict privacy settings).

These are the addresses of your network interfaces, what your router assigned you behind NAT. Discovered through WebRTC's ICE candidate enumeration; nothing leaves your machine.

Geolocation, ASN and IP type are looked up via ipwho.is , a free public service. Everything else is computed locally.

About this tool

See your public IP address along with the network details a website can detect about your connection — useful for confirming a VPN is active, testing firewall changes, or sharing your IP with support.

The page shows your IPv4 and/or IPv6 address and related connection information so you can quickly verify how you appear to the internet.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have both an IPv4 and IPv6 address?+

Many networks run dual-stack, giving you both. Sites may reach you over either protocol, which is why a tool can show two different public addresses for the same connection.

Does this confirm my VPN is working?+

Largely yes — if the displayed IP and location match your VPN server rather than your home connection, traffic is exiting through the VPN. Also check for DNS and IPv6 leaks separately.

Is my IP address private information?+

A public IP identifies your connection to the internet and can reveal approximate location and ISP. It is shown to every site you visit, but you should still avoid posting it publicly.
