- Resolves a setup failure where devices running Windows 11, version 25H2 or 24H2, encountered error code 0x80073712 ("Some update files are missing or have problems") while attempting to install the March 2026 preview update, KB5079391.
- Updates the following AI components to version 1.2603.377.0: Image Search, Content Extraction, Semantic Analysis, and Settings Model. These AI component updates apply only to Windows Copilot+ PCs and will not install on standard Windows PCs or Windows Server.
- Includes a servicing stack update (KB5079387, version 26100.8112) that improves the reliability of the component responsible for installing Windows updates.

How to get this update
Prerequisite: This update is offered automatically through Windows Update only to devices that have already installed KB5079473 or a later update. Microsoft combines the latest servicing stack update (SSU) with the latest cumulative update (LCU) in a single package, so no separate SSU installation is required beforehand.
Windows Update: Devices with "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" turned on may receive the update automatically. Otherwise, go to Settings > Windows Update and select Download & install, or check Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates.
Microsoft Update Catalog: The update is available for manual download. Choose the package that matches your device architecture - arm64 or x64. You can install using Method 1 (place all MSU files in one folder and run a single DISM command) or Method 2 (install each MSU file individually in order, beginning with the prerequisite KB5043080 package, then the KB5086672 package).
